I'm pretty late to the conversation, but I babysit a toddler who uses Motherease diapers. For the record, I've used a lot of different cloth and disposable diapers and pull-ups many different children including my own.

There's no such thing as a diaper that NEVER leaks, but the Motherease comes pretty close. It holds at least as much as a good disposable diaper, and way more than any of the other cloth diapers I have experience with. The only time I've ever seen one leak has been recently, because the toddler is potty-training and will sometimes stubbornly hold it in ALL DAY ("only mommy takes me potty") and refuse to either wet her diaper or go on the potty. When she finally lets it go, it will leak a little; but I swear the diaper weighs as much as a quart of milk and her clothes are barely damp.

I'll be buying Motherease diapers for my next baby. The covers work pretty well for pre-folds without pins, too.
