<description>Thank you for the information your blog provided. The more we learn about everyday items and ways we can live more environmentally friendly, the more we can all participate in improving the health of our earth. I did want to mention that the plastic used to manufacture water bottles and for that matter, soft drinks, teas, power drinks, etc., are made from PET plastic (Identified by a number 1). PET does not have BPA’s, nor does it leach harmful chemicals into the beverage. The problem with PET…and it’s a huge problem…is that it doesn’t go away. Well it will go away after 400 or more years but that it too long. As I mentioned, water bottles aren’t the only problem, there are a lot of other beverage bottles that are contributing to the plastic pollution problem. Our company, ENSO bottles, is an environmental company that decided something needed to be done and quick. Nearly 30 billion bottles are produced here in the U.S. and only 20-30 percent will be recycled, the rest will end up in a landfill. We have developed biodegradable plastic bottle that will biodegrade in a landfill. The ENSO bottle will biodegrade leaving behind biogases which when collected can be used to produce clean energy.
